Technical Field Support Agent

Summary:
IDEMIA National Security Solutions (NSS) is seeking an experienced individual with diverse experience in IT to act as a Technical Field Support Agent to assist our IT support team at customer locations. This role will require up to 75% travel to DoD Installations in support of NSS equipment installations and maintenance while interacting with key stakeholders and access a secure network to troubleshoot as required. The ideal candidate will reside near a major domestic airport due to the travel requirement. The individual must possess a US Government Common Access Card (CAC Card).
In this role you will work closely with the Program Director, Product Director, Delivery Team, Integration Teams, and back-office support teams. You will be responsible for acting as the primary liaison for NSS with DoD customers/stakeholders to access a virtual desktop or local hardware onsite at DoD installations and assist NSS integration teams with remote support. You will be required to access the facility and verbally communicate with the NSS team during outages or routine maintenance. Responsibilities:
- Travel to and obtain access to IDEMIA NSS product installations at U.S. Navy, U.S. U.S. Army, Marine Corps, or other DoD NSS customer sites.
- Obtain product installation access via a controlled computer with a virtual desktop.
- Connect to local hardware for system administration.
- Work closely with remote teams to communicate and log errors.
- Conduct onsite troubleshooting and/or routine maintenance as required.
- Perform Tier 1 equipment troubleshooting.
- Under the direction of the Program Director and Product Manager assist with organizing, directing, and managing enrollment events at DoD installations.
- Enrolling approved DoD personnel by using an iPad tablet and NSS software to capture various individual data.
- Maintain initial and annual security compliance training including online annual DoD and U.S. government classes such as Cyber Awareness.
Required Qualifications:
- General Linux experience
- Possess an active Secret Security Clearance
- Common Access Card holder
- Ability to access a U.S. DoD installation with Common Access Card
- Knowledge of DoD base access
- Ability to travel to designated locations for installation access
- Fluent in English, additional regional languages a plus

- Familiarity with Enterprise Ashore Enclave (EAE), formally PSNET and Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN)

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field is desired

- Must possess strong problem-solving skills and proven ability to communicate issues and solutions in simplified manner.
- Must be proactive to identify and anticipate client (end user customers/system integrators) needs and make recommendations for implementation.

- Must possess demonstrated verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent listening skills
- Must be available and willing to travel up to 75%.
