About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive responsible for the identification, execution, and support of new business opportunities and key partnerships. Must possess the ability to evaluate and manage strategic business opportunities, initiatives, partnerships, alliances, and other strategic ventures in a matrixed environment.  Must have the ability to oversee market analysis, monitor competitive activity and proactively identify customer needs to define vision, strategy, and tactics by working with the CEO, senior leadership team, key stakeholders, Program Directors, product management, engineering, and delivery. Must possess strong leadership skills and be impeccable at planning, designing, conducting due diligence, and implementation of strategic business objectives for new business opportunities and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development, Lead Qualification and Lead Generation: Generate qualified leads by targeting key programs in the federal and civilian sectors.
  • Sales/BD Process Management: Nurture and close strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Sales/BD Strategy Development: Formulate and implement sales strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Product Expertise: Gain an in-depth understanding of our products and present solutions effectively.
  • Drive Sales Cycle: from identification, relationship building with key stakeholders, contracting and negotiation through transition to customer teams within assigned market segments.
  • Sales Process Execution: Implement a structured sales process to ensure continuous revenue growth and client prospecting.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT Management (or related field), or related experience.
  • 10+ years of Business Development and Federal Sales experience.
  • Experience with Identity and Security sales cycle and contracts is ideal.
  • Deep access and experience with Identity and Access Management solutions preferred.
  • A hunter sales mentality – closing new deals in new markets.
  • Must be a creative deal-closer with solution based selling background and track record of closing multiple and single award deals for “new” business.
  • The candidate should have a working knowledge of the Federal procurement process, and a demonstrated proficiency within Federal Civilian, Intelligence and Department of Defense strategy and acquisition plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to gain support and establish working relationships with managers, peers, and staff.
  • Ability to contribute to strategy development, long-range positioning, and execution.
  • Extraordinary project and relationship management skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience.
  • Dynamic, success driven, entrepreneurial self-starter, with good leadership, collaboration, and business development skills.
  • Effective leader with the ability to present compelling formal presentations to clients and potential teaming partners; proven track record of building winning teams as well as successfully negotiating with potential team members as to roles and participation.
  • Detailed insight into Identity and Security current and future programs is strongly desired.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with outstanding interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
  • Proven passion for and ability to develop and win work.
  • Organized, self-motivated, highly skilled professional, knowledgeable in government contracting.
  • Commitment to a winning team.
  • Proven record of success managing BD efforts.
  • Familiarity with online tools used by the Federal Government for solicitations.
  • Must be a US citizen, can not be a dual citizen.
